Dr. Michael Goad

Born and raised in Chatham, Ontario, Dr. Michael Goad completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alberta, which included a year abroad at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in Michigan.

After practicing general dentistry in Victoria for four years, Dr. Goad pursued specialized orthodontic training in Washington, D.C., at Children’s National Medical Center and Washington Hospital Center.

In 2018, he was granted a Master of Science in Orthodontics and returned to Victoria to practice at what is now Lumina Orthodontics. Dr. Goad is an active member of the British Columbia Society of Orthodontists, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, and the Victoria and District Dental Society. 

Dr. Lucy Leon grew up in Oakville, Ontario, and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Western University. After several years of practicing as a general dentist, she discovered her true passion for orthodontics and went on to complete her orthodontic training at the University of British Columbia.

Today, Dr. Leon is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles while providing personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment.

She is an active member of the British Columbia Society of Orthodontics, the Canadian Association of Orthodontists  and the American Association of Orthodontics.
