Why Choose a Specialist?

While all orthodontists are dentists, only 5% of dentists are orthodontists. After dental school, an orthodontist completes an additional three years of intensive residency focused exclusively on tooth movement and jaw development (dentofacial orthopedics).

The Specialist Difference:

  • Expertise: Intensive training in safe, effective tooth movement.
  • Focus: Correcting bites and facial development is the only focus of their practice.
  • Credentials: Only graduates of accredited residency programs can call themselves orthodontists and join the Canadian or American Association of Orthodontists.
When you choose an orthodontist, you are choosing a specialist dedicated to the art and science of your smile!
